The Ocean Hours, formed in 2018, is the result of friends and family playing music together over the last decade. The members first played together in 2008, when attending high school in CT.

In 2018, they started recording The Distance EP, released in June 2019.

They are currently recording songs for Swim for the Surface, which will be released early 2020.
